There are no words to describe what an enjoyable time we had cruising the American Danube aboard the River Rose. The ship is beautiful, the stretch of the Hudson between Newburgh and West Point was spectacular, and the crew were hugely helpful and informative. One of my companions was wheelchair-bound with M.S., and I can’t tell you how grateful we all were for the helpfulness of the crew (especially Mike) in getting her aboard in comfort, safety, and dignity. I highly recommend this cruise to anyone who enjoys a relaxing, beautiful afternoon on the water, as well as anyone who is interested in history, as the narration is fascinating.
All of the people aboard the River Rose have my thanks. We will definitely be doing this every year!
